SWEET MAKING
We had fun making peppermint creams, strawberry creams, lemon creams and blueberry creams.
Ingredients to make about 20 sweets
- 225g icing sugar
- a few drops of water
- a few drops of flavouring
- a few drops of food colouring
Instructions
- Sift the icing sugar into a bowl and then stir in a little water to make a paste.
- Add a few drops of flavouring and colouring and knead well. The mixture should be thick and pliable. If you need to, add a little more icing sugar.
- Place the paste on baking paper, cover with another piece and roll out.
- Stamp out into rounds of about 2cm in diameter and about 1/2cm thick.
- Press each sweet with the back of a fork to give it a fancy look.
- Leave for at least an hour to dry.
- Eat and enjoy!
